Pouty Huault, architecte d'intérieur et Christian André, designer,
conjuguent leur professionnalisme et leurs talents, sous le nom de Pouty Design
depuis 1990, dans les sphères les plus diverses :
intime (maison / sport / luxe)
professionnelle (show-rooms / bureaux)
institutionnelle (muséologie).
En 2008, ils créent et éditent la collection Twizt présentée pour la première fois au
Salon Maison et Objet de janvier 2009 à Paris.
Nés d'un trait unique et maîtrisé, 4 meubles d'ébénisterie minimalistes associent
une essence orangée de bois exotique précieux à la veinure très graphique,
le Tinéo ou le rare Chêne des Marais (vieilli des siècles durant dans les tourbières)
à un bloc de résine blanche (solid surface).
Des matériaux qui métissent naturalité et modernité...
Tous les meubles de la collection TWIZT sont signés et numérotés et fabriqués en France.
Vision Pouty Design
Associer la modernité radicale au classicisme, le minimalisme au baroque exubérant,
des matériaux bruts aux matériaux synthétiques, c'est établir un lien audacieux
entre passé et futur, nature originelle et artificialité à connotation high tech.
Pouty Design pense cette ambivalence stylistique propice à un présent serein ouvert
sur le monde dans des lieux à vivre originaux et durables.
Since 1990, interior designer Pouty Huault and designer Christian André
have combined their professionalism and expertise under the name "Pouty Design",
working across a diverse array of sectors:
Intimate (home/sport/luxury)
Professional (show-rooms/offices)
Institutional (museums).
In 2008, they conceived and created the collection Twizt, which will be presented
for the first time at the "Salon Maison et Objet" show in Paris in January 2009.
These four pieces of furniture, born from the mastery of a unique form, incorporate
either the exotic, orange and very graphic Tineo wood, or the rare and dark bog Oak,
along with a block of white composite material (solid surface).
Each Twizt piece of furniture is signed, numbered and made in France.
Vision
By combining radical modernity with classicism, minimalism with exuberant baroque,
natural and synthetic materials, a daring link is established between the past
and the future, between primal, natural materials and artificial, high-tech elements.
Pouty Design believes that this stylistic fusion establishes a serene environment
which is open to the world and is suitable for any original and sustainable living space.
